Hunger Games, Kataniss Everdeen!

Kataniss Everdeen played by Jennifer Lawrence who also played Mystique in X-Men First Class. Kataniss Everdeen is a strong, family devoted 16 year old girl who would do anything for her family. Sh volunteers in place of her little sister to partake in a televised fight to the death, in which after many challenges and events she returns home to her family. Bringing a character to life on screen from page is always a hard thing to do, with Kataniss I felt they did a very good job with keeping her true to the book. They were especially accurate in keeping her simple and tomboyish with her makeup, hair style, and clothes. One thing i was very happy about was that the actress dyed her hair dark brown just like the character has, it is one of my biggest pet peeves in the movie business, when a movie of show doesn't stay true to the hair color of the character from the book. Jennifer seemed to really understand and respect the character of Kataniss Everdeen. "She is a hero who doesn't mean to be" Jennifer told Life Story/Movie Magic magazine, (that is where I read the quote, she may have told other people that as well).  One thing I didn't like was that you couldn't really see how she thought that being lovey with Peeta was just an act. That was part of the thing with the books to movies that is always hard. When you can't get all the inner dialog without voiceovers, especially in this movie voiceovers would have just been bad and weird. So, I felt that even though that aspect wasn't as extremely obvious as I thought it should be. However that is pretty much impossible outside of the book. I felt that the actress did a good job of trying to get it actress, at times it wasn't noticeable but she did a good job most of the time. I was really interested to se Jennifer in this role because I had see her before in X-Men. However I was paying more attention to the cute guys and the only time I noticed her was to cheer her on to choose the guy I thought she should for with. She did end up going with Erik/Magneto which is who I wanted her to go with yay! So i knew that she wasn't a bad actress because she didn't distract me from the rest of the film. I was interested to see what I would think of her and how she would do in this role. I have to say she did an amazing job! One really random thing that iI loved about her and I felt really added to the character was her scratchy voice. especially in the scenes where she was sad and scared, I felt like it really fit. I don't know exactly why, but I just loved it! Now I can't decide if I should write my critiques on the characters in the order of the characters importance, working from top downward, or if iI should do the girl characters of the movie followed by the boys, If you have a preference please let me know!

Movie review

I have now decided to do a new thing with movies! I am going to review them and review the actors/characters as well! They will usually be in parts of how ever many characters there are because I will be going in to detail of one character per day till done! I plan on doing this with old movies and remakes as well such as foot loose which I intend to do next. Please send me a message/comment with a movie you would like me to review for any reason and I will see it and review it asap for you! The first movie I will be doing this with will be The Hunger Games! Please read and comment! New Follower Cam

I have  a new follower joining us now his name is Cam! I met Cam in Jr high school! We had a few classes together with ms. Dev! Actually her name was Deveron I believe but we just called her Dev! Cam and I did some wired things together... in a good way! when the movie mean girls came out we started calling each other by names from the show, I was Gretchen because she was my fave and i thought the prettiest, and Cam if I recall was the main girl Regina. Now they weren't based on out personality but on who we liked best. We also did some cheerleading things together and did a few fun movies! I saw Cam recently on the first day of school and he don't me to start blogging again I had gotten distracted with winter break but now I'm back with this blog on my old friend and new follower Cam!

Back to blogging

Hey all! I am going to start blogging again, I have a new follower! Hi Brittney!!! So I met Brittney in my psychology class at SLCC this semester. We first bonded over acting then we continued bonding over out HORRIBLE teacher! Brittneys husband Jon was in out psychology class as well which made or a good time. Brittney and i also had sociology together along with our two other friends who had psychology with us as well. That teacher was amazing she was very dedicated to making sure that every one understood what she was talking about. Today we took out final and she even brought us donuts how nice is she, we nominated her for best teacher so hopefully she wins but I honestly don’t know when it will me announced so I don’t even know if I will know.  Yay semester is over!!! Now to just relax and make calendars and wrap presents... once I get them! Love to all!!!

Calendar!

Hey all! I usually like to make my own calendars instead of buying one! So if any of you want me to make one for you send me what you want it of like TV. show of a list 11 hot guys/girls and I'll find good pictures of them then make a collage one for the last month also what month is your birth month and I'll but who you think is the hottest or your favorite character, etc on your month! Nightmare on 13th part 2

Today I had my interview and I think I did a great job! The main guy said he couldn't see any reason for me to not work there but he thought I might be a little soft! SOFT!!! ME?!?!? I have never been accused of being soft in my entire life!!!!!! But I told them my story of how I fell thru a glass table by dancing on it and they said breaking a glass table that's not soft! Yay me!! So I will let you know what happens with the job!
